Sydney's One Fine Day - Wedding Fair

Last weekend I had the privilege to be invited back again to assist Petr Vackar for Sydney's One Fine Day Fashion Show. It was a very busy 2 days but they were so much fun. Everyone who was involved was so kind and energetic that we all worked together fantastically. Petr and his team (including me) did the hair and makeup for the models walking the catwalk. All the hair and makeup looks were designed by Petr, but here are a few photos of the models I did hair and makeup on. 

 (Note: I did not do the makeup on the model whose hair I am doing in this photo!)

This hairstyle consisted of 3 braids that have been wrapped around each other to create a low bun. The front of this style was kept smooth, and only a few little wispy bits of hair were kept out. All in all, it was an easy-going, but very stylish look (one that I wouldn't mind trying out on myself one day!). 

Adding the flower crowns made the overall look a lot more feminine and soft. There were real flowers on these crowns, including cherry blossoms.

This was just one of two makeup looks for the show. Inspired by 60's makeup, this look had a very modern feel to it with the subtle gold highlights on the face and ombré lips.

Overall, it was a very successful weekend. We got so much great feedback from both the audience and the backstage crew. The designer dresses that were showcased on the runway were all very unique in style and concept, a lot of them very feminine and some were very edgy and daring. They were all amazing dresses nonetheless! I cannot wait to work with Petr and his team again at the next One Fine Day Wedding Fair! :)
